NLU Delhi will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test, also known as AILET 2020 on May 3, from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The online application form of AILET 2020 will open from the first week of January 2020; the last date of application submission will be notified later. AILET is conducted once in a year for admissions to 5-year integrated (BA LLB) and LLM law programmes offered by the institute. Each programme has an intake capacity of 70 seats. AILET 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode and include 150 MCQs. The exam will be held across 20 cities in India. Candidates who qualify the examination are further called for the counselling and admission procedure conducted by NLU Delhi.
NLU Delhi announces the eligibility criteria of AILET 2020 along with the application form. According to the AILET 2020 eligibility criteria, the following candidates will be considered suitable to apply for the B.A LL.B programme.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Senior Secondary System or equivalent examination from a recognized board
Candidates scoring minimum 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination
There is no age bar for candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2020 as per the Supreme Court’s stay on age bar in 2017
Candidates appearing for Class XII examination are also eligible to apply for AILET 2020.
